The window sweeps (also called belt line molding, dew wipes or felts) go horizontally across the top of the doors and quarter windows and touch the inside and outside of the glass, they keep the windows from rattling and 'wipe' the glass as it is rolled up and down. This set is contains 4 piece set to cover the front doors on the inside and outside.

This car could have come with 2 different types of window sweeps on the outside and it is important that you know which style you have. Some of the cars came with a chrome or black molding on the outside of the doors and it was actually attached to the car door, if you remove the outside window sweep the molding strip stays on the car. This set is for the cars with the chrome or black strip attached to the car door not the window sweep, the outer window sweep will not have chrome on it, the inner window sweep always has a chrome bead attached.
