The window sweeps (also called dew wipes or felts) go horizontally across the top of the doors and quarter windows and touch the inside and outside of the glass, they keep the windows from rattling and 'wipe' the glass as it is rolled up and down. This set is contains 8 pieces to cover the front doors on the inside and outside as well as the inner and outer window sweep material for the rear quarter windows. The rear window sweeps will have to be cut to fit as no one make a pre made kit for the rear quarter windows. This car could have come with 2 different types of window sweeps on the outside and it is important that you know which style you have. Some of the cars came with a chrome molding on the outside of the doors and it was actually attached to the car door, if you remove the window sweep the chrome piece stays on the door. Some of the cars came with the chrome strip attached to the window sweep so if you remove the window sweep the chrome strip comes with it. This set is for the cars with the chrome strip attached to the window sweep and not the car door.
