This is a 8 piece set of window sweeps for the 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 or Galaxie 500 XL 2 door hardtop, does not fit the notchback cars. The window sweeps attach to the top of the door on the outside and the top of the door panel on the inside, they wipe or sweep the door glass as you roll the window up and down. If your windows are loose or if they rattle then this could be the problem, they also help keep water and debris out of the doors so they won't rust out.
