1963-1965 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet convertible rear tacking rail.

This new rear tacking rail (trim stick) is for the 1963-1965 Ford Falcon or sprint, also fits 1963-1965 Mercury Comet, S-22 or Caliente convertible, 3 piece set.

Convertible Specialists is now manufacturing trim sticks (rear tacking rails) for convertibles at our facility. We have patterns & tooling for most popular models and for those we do not yet manufacture we will be able to duplicate yours with a 'decent' original.

The rear tacking rail is installed at the rear of the car, the bottom edge of the convertible top and the well are stapled to it and then it is bolted to the car. Most rear tacking rails are rusted out or the original tacking material is falling out, don't trust your new top installation to a part that 'might' hold, now you have the option to buy new!
