We take original latches and bead blast them to remove the old paint, we inspect them for damage, replace any defective or worn parts and then repaint them in a semi gloss black. There is no one making reproduction latches for the 1962-1964 Chevrolet Corvair so the latches are very hard to find, now you have the option of an original latch in excellent shape. Since the latches are used there may be some pitting on the chrome yoke at the end of the latch, we make sure the springs are good and replace the chrome J hook with a new piece when available.
